Problems trying to digitize a stereo cassette recording

Hello All,

I’m just wondering if anyone can assist ?

I’m trying to digitize a stereo cassette from a tape deck via a Behringer UF0202 interface, into Audacity.

The left channel is recording ok but I’m getting no signal from the right channel.

This is the same using either a mono or stereo track.

The RCA connectors are fine from the deck into the Behringer and I can hear both channels when monitoring thru headphones directly from the Behringer.

I’ve checked everything in the audio set up but can’t find a remedy.

Can anyone offer any advice ?

Make sure that both Audacity and Windows are configured for stereo (for the particular USB device).

How can I record in stereo?

As far as I can see, the Audacity audio settings are ok - both the recording and playback settings are for ‘CodecUSB’ which comes up as an option when you connect the interface and I’m definitely using a stereo channel.
The Windows configuration is something I hadn’t thought of though - is this a setting that is unrelated to Audacity and the Behringer interface then ?
Presumably I’ll need to do this via the settings on my PC.
