I pasted a segment of a voice recording from one project to another. When I played it back it had sped up. After some research I noticed that the project I had cut from had tempo set at 120 (default) but the project I pasted into had 168 (not quite sure how that happened). When I played it back of course it has sped up. Both projects had minutes and seconds in settings. Not sure if this is a design issue or just a gotchya.
