Hi there! My post was incorrectly labelled as spam / self-promotion, and the messages I’ve received to inform me of this don’t explain how I can appeal this. It’s literally just a request for help with project tools to get a project file recovered, and the only reason the thread had any external links in it was because someone offered to help if I provided a link to download the damaged file.
I can back up this comment. I was the one helping and everything has now vanished.

You can get into trouble on the forum if you seem to be promoting or trying to sell a product. Using naughty words can get you into trouble, too.

Non-legacy forum helpers have made mistakes. Not that that’s ever happened to me.
If you think this might happen, screen capture everything. My new (and improved) email service has been known to “lose” a document I’m writing. Shift-Command-3 record the screen.

Yes, that’s the one. I asked the OP to provide a link to download the project file to see if I could help. I’ve done this numerous times before without issue. Was it because it was Proton drive rather than the more usual Google Drive?
The forum software has complex anti-spam defences. Sometimes it gives false positives and will put a post on hold if it matches any of the spam filters. When that happens, the post is flagged to the forum moderators for manual checking. If it was a false positive then the moderator will approve the post so that it shows up on the forum - that may be what happened in this case.
