Hello,
while searching for a Audacity download link I stumbled across a different website at https://www.audacity.de.
I seemed kinda strange to me, so I just wanted to know wether that was an official site or not.
It appears to be the normal german site (I am german, so that’s that) but it still had a totally diffrent look and feel from the Original(?) website at https://www.audacityteam.org/.
Didn’t know where else to put this so…

That German site distributes malware. They are also in breach of Audacity’s registered trademark. Avoid that site.
The genuine Audacity website is: https://www.audacityteam.org/
When you google for “audacity” the website www.audacity.de. is listed at the TOP - at first at least in germany!!
We have 2023 and still no ban… how is this possible?
