I have the latest Audacity running on a 14" M1 Pro with 32 GB RAM. Whenever I seek/go to new sections of a waveform, I hear “pops” when the audio starts to play. Any ideas how to fix this? RAM isn’t maxed out or even close to being at threshhold. Here is a link to the popping.
You could try enabling “Micro-fades” in “Preferences > Playback”.
I tried that and it didn’t have any effect. I tried another audio program, and I don’t have this issue. Wondering what’s causing it?
I uninstalled and reinstalled it, problem solved.
