Podcast - removing my voice picked up on another guest's microphone in post?

Hi all, I recently recorded a podcast in a fairly small conference room. Kit used - two Røde Podmics on boom arms, Rødecaster ProII, pop shields, with both of us sitting on either side of a hard (large) conference table. One side of the room had a wall with soft-pinboards (behind me), the other was a row of floor to ceiling windows (behind my guest).
Close behind my guest, I positioned a large whiteboard, which had packing foam velcro-d to it to try and stop her mic picking up my voice as best I could. Sadly, it didn’t quite do the job, and I suspect there was also bounce-back from the table and the ceiling! The result is that my mic hasn’t picked up much of her, but her mic picked up quite a bit of me. This wasn’t a big problem until I amplified the track in Audacity (which obviously also amplified the sections of me speaking).
As it’s an hour long podcast, I can’t go through and generate silence for all the bits where I’m speaking on her track (I’d have to pick out every ‘um’ and ‘hmm’ for example which would take ages. Are there any Audacity tricks to minimise my voice picked up on her microphone track?
Obviously the ideal solution is to have a lovely dead space to record, but as I was travelling on public transport with all my gear, I couldn’t bring much sound-deadening material with me…

You could try auto-duck.

Bill, you are a GENIUS. It has completely solved the issue. Well, 99% anyway. Thanks so much.

This may be of interest to you. I have not tried it yet, but if it works, it will be a gamechanger.
