It seems that the playback speed function in Audacity 3.7.7 is non-operational. I have the playback speed set to 3x and the counter still increments at exactly 1 second intervals. I timed this using the clock on the computer. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this or is this a bug?
Turns out that I’m an idiot. I didn’t realize that you have to hit the play button next to the playback speed in order to make the playback speed change take effect. So this is a non-problem and a user error on my part.
