Forced to update to Windows 11 system had to get the newest version of audacity and now I cant overdub.
Trying to layer vocals but when i press record it continues on from the end of the same track

I think this was answered very recently. It involved holding down the shift key or something when resuming the recording process. A search of the forum would probably find it.

Try pressing Shift+D and see if it records.
