OpenVino Install under Linux Mint

How do I get this OpenVINO installed on Linux Mint and running in Audacity? Please provide a detailed guide that is understandable and easy to follow. Thanks.

Come on guys, it can't be that difficult.

Did you see existing Linux guides, here?

Should I have asked here then? Furthermore, the AI models are NOT included after installation as stated there; this is not an instruction manual, it's nonsense.

Feel free to submit an issue to the github page more details about what you are looking for. We are always looking for feedback and contributors. Perhaps you can help.

Yeah, sure, you're definitely NO help.

I’m not sure exactly what you’re looking for. For Linux Mint, you’ll need to build from source. The link that I provided shows how to build the plugins on Ubuntu 22/24, and Debian 12. There are a lot of Linux distros out there, and each one has some uniqueness about it – the idea was that perhaps you could adapt one of those instructions for your use case.

The instructions show how to build the plugins, and then download / populate the right folders with the models.

And you’re right, it’s not an instruction manual – it’s a build guide.
