I thought I’d try OpenVino to separate voice from background music in a 2hour audo. It said it was going to take 7.5 hours but didn’t make it because it ran out of application memory. Here are screenshots of the warning dialog plus Application Monitor.
Any advice how to avoid this? I’m running MacOS 26.2 on a M3 MacAir with 16GB, 2024 I think. Actually, the whole reason I’m doing this is because Whisper (run using Colab) was not working on some audio having background audio and I thought separating out the voices first might help.
But of course, if this is how OpenVino “works” I’ll be uninstalling it. Any advice to try before that?
