Hi,

Is Openvino available for Arch/Manjaro?

“OpenVINO” is an AI toolkit from Intel. It is available (free) for Windows, macOS and Linux from Intel.

The “OpenVINO plug-ins for Audacity” are also created by Intel. Ready to run binaries (executables) are only available for Windows, but the source code is available from GitHub with instructions for building on Linux.

I have not attempted to build the plug-ins, so I’ve no idea how easy or hard it is.

There are some Linux build instructions for both Ubuntu and Debian here: openvino-plugins-ai-audacity/doc/build_doc/linux at main · intel/openvino-plugins-ai-audacity · GitHub

So if you want to use on Arch/Majaro you’ll probably need to adjust build instructions to suit that distro… if you do figure it out, feel free to contribute build instructions :slight_smile:

Ok, I will wait then, I am sure somebody will build an AUR…
