Opening Project "Project is corrupt"

I am getting “Project is corrupt (Unable to work with the blockfiles)” message occasionally. I’ve read the numerous posts with users having this same problem. Is there a simple fix? Thanks, David

Thanks jademan, admittedly I am not very tech savvy, but I did navigate through your steps to fix?! It didn’t work. That’s why I asked for a simplier solution to this problem and a number of users are having. I like Jiyahana’s response and I’m looking for a software fix from Audacity in a very near future software update.

I’m getting the same, more and more. And it’s also reporting “crash reports failed to send”
