Nyquist plug in installer keeps crashing on version 3.4.1

I am trying to install the Nyquist De-clicker plug in on audacity version 3.4.1. But every time I do (following the instructions to the letter) I get an Exception code 0xc0000005 and it crashes audacity with the crash reason being EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION _READ

Anybody had a similar issue. The De-clicker plug in is kind of essential to be honest, this is causing me a real headache.

A lot of things got broken in Audacity 3.4.0. Many have been fixed in 3.4.1 and 3.4.2. Try updating to version 3.4.2.
