non riesco a cambiare tonalità di un brano

Ciao a tutti,
di recente ho scaricato la nuova versione di Audacity.

Devo cambiare tonalità ad un brano. Nella nuova versione devo selezionare la parte del brano che mi interessa cambiare, nel mio caso tutto, quindi CTRL+A. Vado su Effetti, Cambia Intonazione.

solitamente ero abituata ad indicare i semitoni, quindi procedo e scrivo +2 nella sezione semitoni.

e qui parte il problema. quando inserisco il valore in Semitoni succede questo: nella sezione Frequenza, in Percentuale cambiamento i si varia automaticamente il numero.

quando clicco su anteprima mi restituisce un errore che vi riporto:
valore non nell’intervallo: da -99 a 3000

però se cambio questo valore poi mi si cambiano i semitoni in alto, quindi sono totalmente bloccata.

qualcuno riesce ad aiutarmi? Ho letto anche il manuale, ma non ho trovato nulla. In teoria tutto dovrebbe funzionare e invece no…

Hello everyone,
Recently I downloaded the updated version of Audacity.

I need to change the pitch of a song. In the new version I have to select the part of the track that I’m interested in, in my case the whole track, and to so I need the command CTRL+A.
Then I select “Effects”, and “Change Pitch”.

Usually I had to insert the semitones, so I proceeded in putting “+2” in the semitones section.

And here’s my problem. When I put the amount of semitones this happens: in the Frequency section, the percentage of change has numbers that were changed automatically.

When I click on “preview”, an error (which I’ll report down below) occurs:
Frequency not in the range: from -99 to 3000

But if I change this value, all the semitones gets higher, so I’m completely stuck.

Can someone please help me? I’ve checked on the manual but I didn’t find anything. It should be working, but as a matter of fact, it’s not… Thanks.

It is normal for the “percentage” to change when you change the amount in semi-tones. With “semitones” set to 2.0, the “percent change” should show “12.246”.

Please show us all of the settings that you are selecting in the Change Pitch effect.

I only change the semitones and then i click ok or preview and the system open a window saying
"Frequency not in the range: from -99 to 3000

In that message, the range “from -99 to 3000” refers to the “percentage” setting.
Your percentage setting should be 12.246 (which is clearly well within the range).

Which version of Audacity are you using? (look in “Help menu > About Audacity”)

I think the problem Is the point between 12 and 246.
It doesn’t ready It as a comma, but as a point.
I will send my screenshot asap.

The “decimal separator” should automatically display as a comma or as dot, according to whichever is native for the language settings.
What language is Audacity set to?
