Noise Reduction Tool in edits

Running 3.7.5 on Mac OS Sequoia 15.6.1

I can no longer select a noisy bit of the timeline and just use the noise reduction tool to quieten it.

Any ideas what the workaround is for this? I used to just select the noisy bit, and use my noise reduction tool on it, but now it won’t let me do that.

Help?!

Make sure snapping is turned off.
