Noise Floor too Low When Using the Fifine USB microphone

Hello All,
Please be gentle, I’m a noobie!

I’m using a Dell Laptop running Windows 11. When I record a tract with the computer’s microphone my noise floor is fine. When I use my Fifine USB microphone, my noise floor is dead silence, ie there is nothing on the frequency analysis when I click on Plot Spectrum but my voice records just fine.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated

Could be Disable Audio Enhancements - Microsoft Support.

Make sure you have nothing “gating” your microphone.

DELLs also come with second layer of “audio enhancements” called MaxxAudio, which needs to be disabled for faithful recording & playback.

Can you tell me how to do that please Sir?
