Nightmare! Audacity failed to read from a file in <path>

You’re welcome - well, thank the developers, anyway. I had a program I developed that helped to extract the good parts of a project. Unfortunately, with recent updates to Audacity it did not work as well as it did. Fortunately, one of the developers sent me a new, improved, tool as a Christmas present.

It is still a little bit early to do this, but if the tool pans out, I am hoping we may be able to talk the developer into making the tool available for anyone to use.

I’d much rather they fixed the problem at source - so that it just does not happen and with no need for such repairs :sunglasses:

Peter.

Where were you saving the Project? Local Drive C:?

Is there enough room?

I wouldn’t do any more production until you resolve what happened.

I am honored that you asked. The error code 11 verifies that your error is caused by a corrupted database.

Fortunately, database recovery is something you can can do yourself and has a high recovery success rate. Everything you need is in the first post here: Corrupt or Otherwise Broken Audacity Project Recovery
