Do you plan or will you plan to incorporate or is there a plug-in for a “talk-to-text” type feature to capture audio in printed form in say, pdf, docx, etc. that will complement track creation?
Please restate your question.
You mention “talk-to-text” which means converting speech into text. Then you mention “capture audio in printed form” which means converting text into speech. Which is it you are interested in?
Thank you. Was trying to say the same thing two ways. Talk or speech to text and or capture audio to then put in printed/text form. Hope that clarifies.
Take a look at this link and see if it answers your question.
Thank you. It has a Whisper feature that may. Downloading to try.
Downloaded and installed…took forever - huge program/plug-in. Went through all options, etc., and nothing there to convert/transfer/extract speech audio to text. I guess back to my original question about incorporating the feature.
Thanks for trying to help.
Apparently OpenVINO version has to match Audacity version.
Documentation for the Audacity implementation of OpenVINO is sparce. You have to install the version of OpenVINO that is compiled for the DLL of Audacity you are using. This might mean installing a newer version of Audacity, or an older version of OpenVINO.
When downloading the files, I would not recommend downloading everything. Especially if you are just trying it out. There are some truly huge model files. Download the smallest one the first time, but also be aware that this model won’t give you the best transcription.
