Need macro to combine files into one track with 2 secs between & export as one file

I am trying to edit some files from an audio book CD. Each chapter on the original CD is multiple tracks, but I would like each file to be one entire chapter (e.g. Track 1 = Chapter 1).

I’m trying to create a macro to combine the files into one while adding a small gap in between. I have learned so far to use the Align End to End command, but I’m not sure how to add a small gap in between the wave forms and export them as one .wav file.

Any advice is greatly appreciated! I am VERY new to using this program. I tried perusing the Script Reference page, but I couldn’t find what I was looking for.

Believe it or not, that question has already been answered.

Thanks for your input, but the snark was not necessary. I saw that post, but I am hoping for a solution using macros without the use of another program or Python.

There was no snark.

I like your avitar.

Ah, sorry. “Believe it or not” felt snarky to me. Happy belated Pride month

“Believe it or not” was “I can’t believe two people asked the same obscure question.”
