Audacity is helpful, but I have run into an issue… I am trying to record a sound beyond 20 to 21 kHz, and I was wondering if anyone can either help me find a freeware spectrogram that can show frequencies in my audio beyond 21kHz, or if it is possible Audacity could come out with an update for a higher ranged Plot Spectrum?
The 22050KHz limit is due to using the standard sampling rate of 44100Hz.
If you use a higher sample rate, (e.g. 96000Hz), the upper limit of the spectrum will increase, (to 48000Hz)…
You do know 21KHz is ultrasound and is inaudible to humans.
Oh ok… thank you.
