I am using Audacity 2.1.0 on a Windows 10 computer and I notice that all of my recordings are choppy. I’ve tried recording using both a Blue Ball microphone as well as the computer’s microphone and have the same problem each way. Any suggestions? Thank you!
Don’t have any other applications running and try to minimize programs running in the background. Some people get better results if they temporarily run-off their anti-virus and/or Wi-Fi. And, try turning off Cortana if it’s running.

Just to be clear, it’s the “Audio to buffer” setting that it might help to increase.
