My post was closed after 30 days - how is it supposed to be answered?

Dear board mods,

my post was closed after it has not received any answer within 30 days. While I do not expect to receive a reply that quickly, I would still like to be optimistic that someday somebody might read it an drop me a line on ow to solve it. But how is this supposed to happen when the ticket is closed?

As a former IT supporter I know that 30-day-routine, but from a practical point of view, I cannot understand it. And speaking from the practical pov again: what am I supposed to do now? I cannot re-open the post, so I would have to make a new one with identical content, which would seem somewhat pushy to me though. Advise is much appreciated.

Cheers,

bum

This post? Macro fails to export in AppImage version 3.7.5

My guess is that the macro failed because AppImages run in a kind of virtual environment, which probably messed up the export path.

steve, yes that’s it  and many thanks for your reply. I referred to that in the original post as it seems to be off-topic in this category
