Hey. I’m using a new laptop to record my voice, but it sounds weird. I don’t know how to describe it, it almost sounds muffled and boxed in.
My old laptop (which is dead now) did not have this problem, all the recordings sounded clear. So I imagine the problem is with the laptop more than it’s with Audacity.
Here’s a sample of the audio.
Just for reference, my current laptop is a Acer Aspire 3 15. Is there any way to make the recordings sound normal?

Hey there! It sounds like your new Acer laptop might be causing some audio quality issues in Audacity. Have you tried adjusting the microphone settings or updating the audio drivers? That might help improve the recording clarity.
