My husband was out late, accidentally sent me a voicemail whilst he was with another girl, can really decipher what is being said. Could someone make it more clearer

“Help Me Clean Up,” jobs almost always fail. Audacity doesn’t have very good tools to take mixed performances apart into individual parts for repair.

That and Audacity can’t be used for Surveillance, Law Enforcement, or Conflict Resolution.

I have noticed this written before. In what sense can it not be used for those things?

Audacity doesn’t have accurate, built-in time and date tags. It’s not certified by any outside agency and doesn’t carry any guarantee of accuracy—particularly after patching, editing, or repairing.

Audacity classically can’t take apart a mixed performance into individual voices, instruments, or sounds. That’s kind of a big deal when you’re trying to understand what one person is saying.

You can sense people posting with the idea that if Audacity can “Clean Up” their surveillance footage, all their problems will be over. Actually, that’s just the start.

Audacity, last check, doesn’t have a legal office to deal with discovery or court presentation management.

Who told the poster Audacity could clean up that voice? You? What are you doing next Thursday? That’s the court date.

Koz

What a bizarre response. You do know that your reply is public, right? Why are you assuming (unreasonably) that ANYONE told her Audacity could clean it up? Isn’t it just possible she had her own opinion? I didn’t offer any comment because I don’t know if Audacity could do that and I DO know my own limitations. As for what I’m doing next Thursday, sorry I’m happily married, the wrong age, the wrong gender and too far away. Thanks for the thought though.

That’s a holdover from when Audacity was a good deal more modest…and gun shy.

“Help me clean up my surveillance footage.” is very different from, “Help me make my audiobook voice sound better,” “How do I record a three-person podcast,” and “Can you repair my Audacity Project File?”

This was the Audacity Corporate Headquarters in Land’s End, in Britain’s lower left-hand corner.

Or Cornwall as we like to call it.
I notice the OP has been conspicuously absent from this discussion. Hmmm.
