Multiple Declick Presets

I haven’t used Audacity for a while (2018) but I remember that I used to have multiple declicking presets.

I know this because my process-flow notes include:-

“Remove Clicks
- large
- moderate
- small 2
- small 1
- minor 2
- minor 1”

Each of these had its own dialog box.

I don’t know if these were part of the native Audacity program or whether they were addins. I can’t find these anywhere.

Any help would be appreciated.

Paul-L’s De-clicker plug-in is not native to Audacity. And it does not come with presets.

I have multiple presets for that de-clicker plug-in, but created them myself.

There’s also Click Removal. This is a very basic effect and it doesn’t have presets either, but you can create your own presets and it is included in Audacity.

There’s also Clip Fix which is a bit different, and also does not have presets. Again, you can create your own presets and it is included in Audacity.

Thanks,

I have Paul L’s de-clicker, but it is another plugin that had a bunch of presets included, that I hope someone else remembers.

Thanks,

I have tried the Click Removal. I’m hoping someone else remembers the tool with the presets I wrote in my post.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Nyquist* plug-in that came with presets. [ * a specific to Audacity plug-in ].

Thanks.

I have solved the mystery. I found some old bookmarks that I had forgotten about, which lead me to this old but very useful post:-

The article includes links the the author’s own audio software “Wave Repair”. I have used it and it is excellent - I must be getting old and forgetful.

Have a look at it
