Multichannel level meters

Hello all,

I am recording several (4-6) audio channels simultaneously from my MOTU Traveller firewire/USB device. Recoding works fine, but is there a way to have several input level meters, in order to monitor the appropriate gain setting on all the channels at once? I cannot find a way to have more than one 2-channel (stereo) input level meter, and could not find anything in the manual or FAQ.

My equipment: Audacity 2.0.5 on a MacBook Pro running Mountain Lion (OSX 10.7), MOTU Traveller audio interface

Audacity does not yet have multi-channel meters, though there is an existing feature request logged on the wiki ("Per-channel recording meters: Multi-channel recording requires one meter channel for each channel being recorded. ")
I have added your vote for that feature.
