Moving macros to a new computer

Hi!
Windows 10
Audacity 2.3.2

I just god a new computer right after my last one bit the dust. Luckily, I had copied almost all of my hard drive to a backup including program files, documents, and Windows (old Windows 98 habit).

I had created a few macros on my last computer Audacity 2.3.2 (the same as I just installed on the new computer). But I can’t find the macros to put add them to the new computer.

Does anyone know where the macros are stored? Is there a way to import them or something?

Thanks!

Macros are just plain text files. By default they are in the hidden folder:
*C:\Users<your user name>\AppData\Roaming\audacity\Macros*

Thanks for the quick response.

I found most of my macros there! And I now realize that’s in the manual; so thanks for helping out anyway.

But not all of my macros were listed in that location. The newest macros that I created about a month ago aren’t listed in that location. Did 2.3.2 change that location for the macros?

I’ll keep sniffing around. And thanks again for your help.

No.
