Modify mp3 file to amplify certain voices while reducing background noise and voices?

I have a mp3 file that contains a recording of a conversation between 2 people, but it is at a venue with loud background music, people yelling, singing, etc

I’m new to audacity. I’ve used the noise reduction before, but only to remove background static noise, and not from the situation I’m dealing with

can someone please help? Thanks

For your case it is better to use Adobe Enhance Speech (Enhance Speech from Adobe | Free AI filter for cleaning up spoken audio)

Use the Voice Isolation and Noise Reduction tools in Audacity at the same time- also think about using EQ to cut music frequencies. It does have to be adjusted but when it is it works great!"

Yes Adobe enhance speech is terrific and you can use the limited free version if needed .I record phone interviews and use A E Speech to make the audio sound do much better.
