Minor bug (old) - Playback starting late after clipping

This is an old bug that has been around for a while now.

If you clip the start of an audio file, playback starts late (only) the first time. One must stop, rewind, and click play again to get playback to start at the beginning.

ie: If you clip 2 seconds off the start of a file and click play, playback will start 2 seconds into the file (I assume from the Selection End time prior to deletion.)

A minor bug (and hopefully easy to fix) but a big annoyance. I often must clip pauses from the start of audio files I’ve recorded, meaning I must play everything twice (once before & once after) to hear my recordings correctly.

I have always believed this to be some kind of buffering thing because Audacity is sending audio to an “external” device, which is the sound card (even when it’s inside the comptuer).

It is even worse when you try to use Bluetooth earphones, as three devices are buffering, the sound card, the Bluetooth adapter, and then the earphones.
