**Beste Mensen.**Voordat ik vragen ga stellen over het gebruik van Audacity,zal ik mij eerst even netjes aan u voorstellen. Mijn naam is Anton Dooveen werd vorige maand 74 jaar. Ik ben gehuwd en opa van een lieve kleinzoon.
Hij wordt 4 jaar in april 2014 en ook voor hem wil ik leuke dingen kunnen doen met Audacity voor leuke muziek en zang. Daarbij wil ik graag mijn USB-platenspeler en Tape Express leren gebruiken en beluisteren.
Dat doe ik met mijn Gehoor-apparaten en dat test ik op de versie Audacity -Win-2.0.5Dat is toch de meest recente?
Mijn PC is de Acer Aspire waarop ik de Solo-Apparatuur van Phonak kan aansluiten,wat ik met mijn Gehoor-apparaten prima kan horen,zodra de muziek van mijn USB-platenspeler of Tape Express op CD of DVD staat.
Die Tape Express van iON is bedoeld om de muziek en zang van de cassette-bandjes op CD/DVD te plaatsen en die USB platenspeler is ook van iON. Nu komt mijn vraag.
Kan ik de muziek en/zang van beide apparaten direct met Audacity opnemen of dien ik toch eerst de software met de naam EZvinyl te gebruiken van Mixmeister? Ik weet niet wat het beste is. Voor mij is dit nieuw.
Vroeger had ik die EZvinyl ook op Windows XP,maar dat is verouderd en de nieuwe versie van EZ werkt niet meer met iTunes zoals ik vernam van een medewerker bij iON Audio,dus dien ik mij hierbij aan te passen met nieuwe werkwijze.
Daarom vraag ik in dit forum om mogelijke hulp met adviezen over de aanpak,want ik wil samen met mijn vrouw ook graag mijn bestaande muziek-collectie weer kunnen beluisteren en opslaan op CD/DVD`s. Vooral in Januari 2014.
Mijn vrouw en ik zijn dan 30 jaar gehuwd en ik ben dan 35 jaar Heilssoldaat. Mijn vrouw is dan later in dat jaar 12 1/2 jaar Heilssoldaat. Daar past uiteraard muziek en zang bij,ook al houden wij het rustig.
Dat is i.v.m. mijn verminderde gezondheid,waarover ik meer zal vermelden op mijn geplande blog dat later volgt in mijn beschikbare tijd.
Graag verneem ik hoe ik thuis met Audacity de muziek en zang kan beluisteren en opnemen plus opslaan. Daarvoor dank ik u alvast met vriendelijke groeten. Anton Doove.
Dear Steve. My knowledge for to use English is too little bit and for me a big problem,but I try as well to learn more,what cost me more time to follow a course,which isnt cheap for my budget. Perhaps Im ready with it if I become 100 years It`s during still 26 years before I get the age of 100 years,but the 26 years are quicker behind us before we know it,because the time goes very quick if we are very busy
If my English is not good,please ask a Dutch forum-member to give me answers. English Instructions about Audacity,I cannot understand,but I look forward for to find Dutch Using-instructions. This is what I can do for using Audacity.

Dear Gale. Sorry,but now I better stop my membership of this Forum,because the Google-translating is a very wrong translating,which I cannot follow and I cannot make corrections,because my knowledge about the English language is too little
bit for to make corrections. First Ive self lo learn more English with the right grammar before I can make corrections for Google Translations,which costs me many extra years. Thats during much too long at my age of 74. Not so handy.

The Audacity interface in the program is translated (by one volunteer) but he does not have time to also translate the Manual.
If setting Audacity to run in Dutch is not sufficient then you could perhaps search the internet for other recording programs that may have help in Dutch. Almost any recording program can record from a USB cassette deck or USB turntable. Windows Media Player may have help in Dutch for CD burning.
Really if you are sure to disconnect the USB device after recording so that it cannot be the default system playback device, and be careful to set the input level correctly (not too loud and not too soft) you should not need any depth of instruction.
Dear Gale. The program Audacity is as well in Dutch and in this Forum I also saw Dutch text which was my reason to subscribe, but the answers are English,whats not realy handy. Google-translating is not to follow by wrong grammar. Real translating never can be done by a machine,because translating-machines never use the right and natural language-grammar,what you see in very strange formed sentences and in this way you dont know what other people means to tell you.
Thats why I dont like to use a translating-machine such as Google or another one. So,I prefer to write you better in English,but only after many courses in English,what`s during many years,before I can write correct English.
I better choose a forum with members,who can give correct dutch answers without to use a translating-machine,because I know from myself,that my English is not exact correct. I miss too much language-knowledge.
How and where I can unsubscribe to this forum? Sorry,but the Google-translating is not to follow,by wrong formed sentences,which I cannot chance myself and it costs me too much time. This time I better use it for other hobbies.

As I explained, we only have one volunteer available to translate to Dutch. Audacity is free software.
I suggested Google Translate in an attempt to help you. We do not officially present it as a “translation” of the Audacity Manual because we know machine translation is not perfect.
There is no Audacity Forum in Dutch, again because Audacity relies on volunteers. That is why I suggested you use other software to record that may have help in Dutch. I’m sorry Audacity running in Dutch is not intuitive enough for you to use without a Manual.

Hoe komt het dat als je bij audacity opneem (stem) dat het steeds klinkt of je in een doos staat te zingen
alles is anders in orde (zang micro, geluids isolatie apparatuur enz…)
kan je het ergens instellen of filteren dat het niet meer zo klinkt aub
