Microphone Recording Issue

I use a Blue Yeti microphone to make my own karaoke recordings. It has worked great for a very long time, with the vocal sound files staying well within the tracks themselves, only requiring minor adjustments to amplify + or - a little either way. The last few times I have used it, no matter the setting, the vocal sound file is HUGE…and goes way outside the track. I have to highlight the entire track and amplify it like -10 just to get it back into the track. I cannot figure this out for the life of me, but its really getting old. Blue Yeti does not require any special software and is truly a plug and play unit that has worked great up until now. Any help would be greatly appreciated….thx.

The Yeti has a recording volume knob…

Also check Windows Microphone Boost and make sure Windows “Enhancements” are turned OFF.

I realize that but I have turned every knob every which way and it all makes no difference.

I actually think my mic has gone bad. I just ordered another one.
