Audacity user for several years. Have all the DAWs but use Audacity for recording and music production. Had four tracks hit the New Music Weekly Country Music charts produced with Audacity.
Recently I have encountered a problem with aligning tracks. I used to be able to click the track in the upper edge then move it left or right in very small increments. Now the increments are about 2-3 times wider than before, so it is very difficult if not impossible to align the tracks. The same is true of delete or insert, i.e. instead of one space, it takes 3-4. Likely I changed something in the program to cause this but have not found the solution. Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you.
