I want to make a stage custom microphone stand, and need to adjust the height of it from bottom of the mic stand/lower part of it, Is there a way to do that?

Designing your own microphone stand is usually a bad idea because if you do anything wrong, you can destroy your microphone.
I have an On-Stage-Stands 9701. It will put a microphone any height from five inches to five feet. This is it being used as a desk microphone holder.
There’s some serious advantages to this if you have room as it leaves the area under the microphone free for production. In this case, it was raised up slightly to help with vocal P-Popping.
Unlike the weighted Atlas stands, it doesn’t weight anything and it folds up and fits in my closet.
