I recorded 6 tracks in Audacity, and I need to merge them together to create 1 track. Is this possible? I’ve been reading up on it, and I can only find information on how to combine 2 tracks to play at the same time. TIA!
If you mean “mixing” them into one, that will happen automatically when you “export” (“File menu > Export > Audio” to create a normal audio file).
Alternatively you can select the tracks (Ctrl+A to select All) then use “Tracks menu > Mix and Render”.
Be careful about the level of the mix - adding tracks together will make the mix louder and may distort - use the “View > Mixer Board” to adjust the track levels.
