It would be handy to duplicate macros. I’d like to make the same macro chain but with different settings for different tasks.
I would of course like to be able to use export2 without hard setting the file name, and have the file name be identical to the original, just in a different location.
In Audacity 3.0.2 (the current version: Audacity ® | Downloads) you can Export a macro and then Import it to create a duplicate.

Use one of the other Export commands (depending on the required format), such as “Export as WAV”.
In Audacity 3.0.2 you can set the macro output location in Preferences: Directories Preferences - Audacity Manual
(The exported files go into a macro output folder within the selected location, so as to avoid accidentally overwriting other files that may be there).
