Macro for "Click Removal" effect when cleaning pops/clicks from records, by selecting short audio sections

I rip a lot of records and use the “Click Removal” function to smooth out pops/clicks. Threshold = 88 and max Spike Width = 40. If I select a long section of audio, like 5 minutes and run the effect, it does a good job, but still leaves some spikes. If I select the area closely around the spike (maybe 30 seconds with the spike in the middle), and run the same Click Removal, it fixes it.

Assuming it is more accurate with a smaller section selected, and wondering if I could create a macro to run 30 second sections for the duration of the project. Looking to have it crawl through 30 second increments from start to end of the audio. Is such a thing possible?

If you use Windows, you could have a look at Wave Corrector to do it automatically. The UI won’t win any beauty contests but it might save you some time.
