Macro - flac to WMA

Want to create a macro to convert Flac to WMA.

In the “Manage Macros” window and then browsing through the “Insert/Select Command” window, I cannot find “Export as WMA” in the list.

Am able to export Flac file as a WMA per individual track.

Successfully created a Flac to MP3 macro, and works ok.

Any thoughts.

Audacity does not directly support WMA, but uses a third party application (FFmpeg) for WMA support.
Exporting using FFmpeg is not currently supported by macros.

Cheers Steve.

Want to convert my entire music library (700 odd tracks).

Never mind i’ll have to put up with MP3.

Cheers mate.

Maybe there are better options. Why did you want to use WMA?

Hi Steve

I think WMA has the edge. I know the people in white coats with their graphs will say there is no difference. I use the old fashioned method of using my old ears and doing A-B comparison.

So why not use OGG or FLAC?
