MacOS Tahoe 26.3.1, Audacity 3.7.7
Just downloaded the latest Audacity as the previous had stopped recording this week.
Checked my settings and they are set correctly.

Make sure that access to “Microphone” is granted to Audacity in the system settings. A previous version does not “stop recording” without a cause.
