Mac 13.5.2 (22G91) Ventura Change output sound tool

Every time (with Audacity open) I pass from headphone output to Scarlett or viceversa I get en error.
For instance:
I have the Mac and opened audacity as audio output “headset”. I change to Scarlet in Mac and I change ro Scarlet in the opened Audacity but as soon as I click play I receive an error message.

I need to restart Audacity, select the output and it perfectly works.

Is there a system to make Audacity recognise properly the new selected output without the need to restart every time?

Thank you

Every time you add or remove a USB device, you should do Transport > Rescan Audio Devices. 3.4 (not available yet) will add a Rescan selection to the Audio Setup Menu.
