Have gotten Audacity to record music, I’ve saved it, exported it to a folder on my laptop and played back the music with a little time and effort, but have succeeded. Now what I can’t do is hear the music while it’s being recorded. I’ve tried all the different settings, internal laptop speakers, nothing, headphones plugged into the laptop, nothing, And yes I’ve changed the playback device settings to whatever’s available. So with internal speakers or headphones, have tried all three Audio Playback Device settings with each one and no sound. Yet I can open a windows screen, continue watching the YouTube help video and get sound through either the headphones or the laptop internal speakers. Any suggestions? I can record my tracks and edit afterwards, would just be nice to hear what I’m recording before saving and exporting.
