I read and tried following the instructions in this thread but still can’t get Audacity to recognize a library to allow audio from mp4 files to be imported. Pleaes help!
Importing MP4 files requires a different library than LAME so I started a new topic for you. LAME is only for writing MP3 files.
For importing and exporting MP4, follow these instructions to install FFmpeg: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/faq_installation_and_plug_ins.html#ffdown.
