I have just installed a PP400 Preamp between my RCA LAB1200 turntable and my Pioneer sound system. When I play an LP, the speed is too fast. Is there a way to adjust the speed on this turntable?

The switch is set to 33….
This is the Audacity help forum. We are not able to provide technical support for other products, however, from looking on Google I found a couple of articles that say that there are two “pot” adjusters on the motor, one for adjusting the 45 speed and one for the 33 1/3 speed. Accessing these adjusters may require opening the case, but Radioshack manual (http://support.radioshack.com/manuals/ome42-7012.pdf) advises:
If your turntable is not performing as it should, take it to your local
RadioShack store for assistance. To locate your nearest
RadioShack, use the store locator feature on RadioShack’s website
(> http://www.radioshack.com> ), or call 1-800-The Shack (843-7422) and
follow the menu options. Modifying or tampering with the turntable’s
internal components can cause a malfunction and might invalidate its
warranty and void your FCC authorization to operate it
