Hello,

I love using Audacity but find it annoying to have to manually start the recording I know you can set keys to use but their not globally listened for unlike in OBS if I use the shortcut to record doesn’t matter if I am on OBS or in the game it will start to record but Audacity doesn’t, is there a way to set this up?

Audacity does not support global shortcuts, but I’ll log your interest in that feature.

One possible workaround is to use “AutoHotkey” or similar to intercept the key press and pass it on to Audacity.
