First off, I’m on Linux Mint 22.2 Cinnamon 6.4.8.0-79-generic using the Audacity 3.7.5 AppImage for Ubuntu 22.04.
My issue is that after my initial setup of the keyboard shortcuts, installing all my plug-ins, and importing all my macros, I missed a couple of keyboard shortcuts, and now it won’t save them. Like I can go in and assign them, save it, and they work for that instance of Audacity. But the minute I close Audacity, it dumps them. I have to reassign them every time I open Audacity. I’ve imported the keyboard shortcuts as a whole from a separate computer also running 3.7.5 (Windows, not Linux), and it seems like it’s not actually importing the XML file as the corrected shortcuts aren’t there, though I know they should be from the imported file.
I’ve tried deleting the AppImage and re-downloading. I’ve tried using the AppImage for Ubuntu 20.04. They’re all the same- they already have my plugins and macros loaded and all the original keyboard shortcuts I set, I don’t know if there’s a cache I need to clear or some other trick.
It’s a minor issue- but one that’s really starting to bother me.
