Jump to next silence

When invoked, this would move the cursor to the next silent portion of the track. This would be useful for finding audio dropouts, separations between audio segments, etc.

It could even be turned into a general find option, where the user could use it to search for the next/previous part of the track above or below a certain db. It could be used to look for low or high spots in the audio, as well as silence.

I know it’s not exactly what you’re asking for, but would the Silence Finder help with your task?

It looks like it would, thanks. I’ve switched to a different editor, but will keep this info for the future.
