Joining Multiple Clips With a Space Inbetween?

Hey all,

I have a voiceover track I’ve edited and split with the intention of adding a gap in between each clip. I can’t seem to see a way to do this, I’m only seeing an option to join them?

Trying to avoid the manual work of adding a gap after each clip. (There’s 31.)

Thanks!

Yes, that could be a little busy. You’d think there would be a macro for this. Perhaps there is one. Until someone posts a link, here is some food for thought:

  1. Export multiple (by label) into separate files
oh, you don’t have labels, so first create them by selecting the first clip, then
Ctrl+B, Uparrow, Tab for each clip, then export audio: Multiple Files
  2. Import all of the files into a new project
  3. Select all
  4. Move all the tracks to the right by your desired interval (e.g. 1 second)
  5. Generate a silent clip in that 1 second interval on the first track
  6. Ctrl+C (Copy)
  7. Click in the empty interval in the next track, Home, Ctrl+V (Paste)
  8. Select All
  9. Tracks Align End-to-End
