jBridge Audacity

Hey, i have all my plugins which only support Audacity 32bit. That means i cant use those plugins on Audacity 64bit, which then again I cant use the Muse Hub plugins, cause Muse Hub only support Audacity 64bit. Then i googled and learned about a bit converter called jBridge. It works, i think. But when i try to load up these plugins it comes a type error, which says: “Incompatible plugins found, we have disabled these plugins to avoid any stalling og crashes.”

Anyone know how to fix this problem? Please help…

A workaround (i have) :two versions of Audacity: one 32-bit one 64-bit.
You must keep them separate though otherwise corruption will ensue.

What do you mean? That i can have my 34bit plugins on my 34bit audacity, and use Muse Hub on a 65bit Audacity? Like have two of em? I would like to only have a 64bit though.

Yep. That’s what I’ve got: 64-bit Audacity 3 and 32-bit Audacity 2 on the same 64-bit Windows OS, unzipped into separate folders, (see my previous post as to why you should not install both).

OCENaudio is Audacity’s free competitor: the 64-bit version can use 64 & 32 bit plugins.
[ Now the bad news OCENaudio does not do VST3, just VST &VST2 plugins ].

Free x86 (32bit) Bridge has been included in REAPER for free.
So, I am able to use 32bit VST plugins in x64 version.

For Audacity, you have to use a separate 32bit version.
