Hi everyone,
I’m seeing some odd behavior when sharing external “aggregator” pages (pages that collect multiple invite/group links), and I’m wondering if anyone familiar with how the Audacity Forum or its software handles link previews can shed some light.
Here’s what happens:
I run a page like this (non-static, redirect-type): https://justgroup.link/online-earning-whatsapp-group-links/
When I share one of these links (in chat, notes, or on the forum), sometimes the preview (title, image, description) doesn’t show.
The redirect also doesn’t always work as expected — sometimes it won’t open the target app, or just gets stuck.
What I’ve already checked:
The page has proper Open Graph tags (og:title, og:description, og:image).
Redirects are set up correctly on the server.
The target apps/clients normally support this type of redirect.
My questions:
Could the Audacity Forum (or the way it handles previews) be blocking metadata for dynamic/redirecting links?
Could it be due to preview caching or how the forum scrapes metadata for posts?
Are there certain headers or security/privacy settings that need to be present on external sites for previews/redirects to work correctly here?
If anyone’s run into similar issues (broken previews or redirect problems with aggregator-style links), I’d love to hear your experience or any fixes you’ve found.
