Is this an option in audacity 4? if not then this is a [SUGGESTION]

Audacity 3 was so awesome. i loved when you press play or resume and the audio starts from where you last selected. and then if you stopped or played it again, it would start at the same spot.

Audacity 4 needs some improvement: because it does not have this function (at least not that i am aware of). When you press play, it will just pick up where it left off instead of going back to that selected spot. I really like how you can go to “ Preferences > Editing “ and then you could choose how you like some features. maybe you should be able to change the playhead behavior On Play to how it used to be in Audacity 3.

To me, having the starting play position go back has to be the single most annoying thing about Audacity.

I guess there should be two play buttons. One that does it your preferred way, and one that does it my preferred way.

In Audacity 3 press the X key while playing to stop and set the cursor to the stop point.
