When I purchased my Toshiba laptop, I had to download a 32-bit operating system instead of keeping the 64-bit the laptop came with. And that was due to my CAT software that I use for work having some glitches with a 64-bit, supposedly. I really need a boost for my audio while working (I listen to audio on my jobs) and I don’t see where Audacity offers a version to meet my needs. I have Windows 7 and a 32-bit OS. Can someone tell me if one of the others will work or if I’m out of luck? Thanks so much!
Now I have one other question: Do you know if Audacity will conflict with my SPEEX codec installed for my CAT software? Someone mentioned that it might, but I have no clue as to why it would. If that’s the case, I can’t install Audacity as I have to use the SPEEX codec for some of my clients.
Thanks for your help. If I need to start a new post, let me know!
Sure you can - just post a message - If I’m not around I’m sure someone else will be able to help.
Generally we prefer that people start a new topic when they have a new question as it saves a lot of time for everyone if they don’t need to read through long discussions just to get to the relevant part. There are some brief guidelines to the kind of information that you should include in your posts - it helps for a speedy solution if the necessary information is available right from the off: https://forum.audacityteam.org/t/how-to-post-a-question-on-the-forum/23175/1
